The Surrounding Area

There is so much to do in and around the area that nobody will be bored. There really is something for everybody.

If you want the peace and quiet, sitting by the window with a drink in hand is a perfect way to pass a few hours. Even in the summer months the sound from the beach is minimal so it isn't hard to relax, and in the winter there's barely a sound to be heard.

The apartment is virtually on the beach, the beach has plenty of space to relax or play games. There is also a beach cafe and shop at the one end where you can get a wide selection of food, drink and other beach accessories.

There's plenty of walks in the area surrounding the apartment. Discover the miles of coastline which reveal small secret bays and amazing wildlife. Also a short drive away is Rhossili, or the worms head as it is locally known. There are amazing views from here across the sea and some great walks. There's also a cafe and tea room looking out over the sea.

In the local area there is also pony trecking, a golf course, fishing, a surf school, rock climbing and much much more.

The mumbles is a 5 minute drive or taxi ride away, which has a long strip of bars and restaurants, you can also get a great ice cream too. There's also a couple of arcades. Its a great place to relax and have a meal of evening, then go to the arcade or have a stroll along the harbour and pier.

Swansea is a 15 minute drive away, which boasts a whole host of activities such as a large bowling alley, water park with pool and flumes, cinema, shops, restaurants, bars, musuem and marina.
